Kinda like a brownie, kinda like cookie, these Flourless Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Bars combine the best of two dessert favorites. Not only are they unbelievably satisfying, they are also gluten free, flourless and ridiculously easy to make.
I've been doing my absolute best to explore ways to satisfy my sweet tooth in a healthy way. I'm also making.an effort to use as many staple items in my kitchen as possible so all the ingredients used are constantly in my cabinets just waiting to be put to good use so making these were super convenient. They came out amazing and everyone loved them.
Equipment needed
A food processor or blender
An 8x8 baking dish or brownie pan
Parchment paper to prevent sticking
Cooking Tips
Make sure you use pitted medjool dates is key their soft gooey texture helps to hold these bars together, add sweetness and give the bars their dense texture.
Line your baking dish with parchment paper. This will prevent sticking and make clean up a breeze.
Use creamy almond butter. It helps give. a smooth consistency and texture
Let the bars cool down before removing them from the pan or slicing and serving.
